Following the success of its pilot edition in 2016, Echoes Festival is back this Autumn from 25th Sep to 11th Nov 2017 across London.
Curated by Helen for ILAMS, Echoes Festival is the first and only annual UK festival of Iberican classical music.
Banish those Autumn blues and let yourself be carried away to the sunnier climes of Iberia and Latin America, with sizzling music performed by the hottest talent in Latin classical, including La Grande Chapelle, Duo Diez, Nirse González and Fernando Espí.
In 2017 there is much to celebrate: the 400th anniversary of the death of the great Spanish Renaissance composer Alonso Lobo, as well as the centenaries of composers Antonio Lauro (Venezuela), Teresa Carreño (Venezuela), Manuel Saumell (Cuba) and luthier Antonio Torres (Spain).
This year there are also more chances to get involved - a
new Come & Sing event, as well as opportunities to volunteer and fundraise.
The official Festival website is set to launch in July. In the meantime please visit www.ilams.org.uk/concerts.htm for bookings and more information.
